Introducing Dr Gerald Nyasulu
​Gerald Nyasulu, Ph.D. is the founder and Executive Director of Kingdom Care Limited. Dr Nyasulu has a passion to see poverty eradicated from people and to see every human being live a dignified life. Dr. Nyasulu holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree (Ph.D.) focussing on Poverty Eradication from a Human Rights Perspective conferred by James Cook University (Australia) in 2009 and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Administration conferred by The University of Malawi (2000).

Under his leadership, Kingdom Care has grown from its inception in 2014 to an organisation that is now reaching hundreds of people from all works of life and cultural backgrounds around Australia with initiatives including counselling programs and empowerment seminars, targeting all ages.

Dr Nyasulu brings a wealth of experience in the organisation from his past experience both in Australia and abroad. Prior to his engagement with Kingdom Care Dr Nyasulu has managed social programs in international organisations in Malawi such as United Purpose (formerly known as Concern Universal) and Voluntary Services Overseas (VSO). His work focused on the design of safety nets for the alleviation of poverty and HIV Aids programmes for supporting patients and their carers.

In Australia, for 7 years Dr Nyasulu has worked with Townsville Multicultural Support Group (TMSG) an organisation that works with refugees and culturally and linguistically diverse communities, resettling them in Australia and providing support to such families. This vast experience coupled with his Ph.D thesis focused on Poverty Eradication and Human Rights has enabled Dr Nyasulu in his efforts to establish and grow Kingdom Care Limited.
